  1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of the Paicu Web Solutions website and the pre-contractual relationship between you and us. By using the site you accept them in full. Development contracts are concluded separately, in writing, and take precedence over this text.

  2. The services

We provide bespoke website development, web applications, strategy and interface design, as well as the optimization of existing sites. The exact scope of the work, the deadlines and the price are set out in a written quote, accepted by both parties before work begins.

  3. Requests and orders

The form on this site is not a firm order and creates no obligation for either party. It is a request for a quote. A project begins only after the written acceptance of the quote and, where so agreed, after the advance payment has been received.

  4. Prices and payment

Prices are stated in euro and do not include VAT, unless otherwise provided. Payment is made in instalments, against milestones agreed in the contract. Invoices are payable within 14 days of issue; exceeding that term entitles us to suspend the work until the account is settled.

  5. Deadlines and cooperation

Deadlines run from the receipt of all the necessary materials: texts, images, access to the domain and to existing accounts. A delay in providing them moves the delivery date by the same period. Each stage is considered accepted if we receive no written comments within 5 working days of handover.

  6. Intellectual property

Upon payment of the price in full, the economic rights over the code and the graphic materials produced specifically for you pass to you entirely. Third-party components and open-source libraries remain under their own licences. We reserve the right to show the work in our portfolio, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  7. Warranty and maintenance

For 60 days from launch we remedy, free of charge, any malfunction attributable to us. The warranty does not cover changes requested afterwards, interventions in the code by third parties, or problems arising from external services. Ongoing maintenance is contracted separately.

  8. Liability

We are liable for direct damage, within the limit of the sums received for the work in question. We are not liable for loss of profit, of data or of opportunity, nor for the unavailability of services supplied by third parties: hosting, domains, payment processors, email services.

  9. Ending the collaboration

Either party may terminate the contract by giving 15 days’ written notice. Work carried out up to the date of termination is paid in full, and the materials produced are handed over in the state they are in, with no further claims on either side.

  10. Governing law

The relationship between the parties is governed by Romanian law. Disagreements are settled amicably; where that is not possible, jurisdiction lies with the courts of the provider’s registered office. Consumers may also use the European online dispute resolution platform.
